To help prevent severe injuries.
Service Description
Every fitness plan is to help prevent injuries as much as possible. There will be a 15-20 minute period of dynamic and static stretching before and after every exercise begins. Stretching is one of the most important aspects to prevent injuries. Every athlete; no matter the sport must stretch before and after any physical activity. Stretching will increase flexibility and performance for any sport that includes some form of running or swimming. Dynamic stretching is an ideal exercise prior to an athletic sport. It is designed to warm you up and move your body and take the muscle or joint through a challenging and repetitive motion. Inchworms, Leg-swings and Walking Lunge and Twist are all examples of of good dynamic stretches to do before any activity that has to do with running. On the other hand, static stretches involve less movement and are ideal for a cool down after a tough training session. Static stretches are designed to hold a position for a joint or a muscle and shouldn't be challenging. Research shows that holding the position for 30-60 seconds will increase flexibility and lower the chances of injury. Quad stretch, Groin stretch and Butterfly stretch are all good static stretches too cool down after playing.
